Burgers with a View—but at a Premium Price Near Berlin Hauptbahnhof
I recently tried Peter Pane at Berlin’s main train station. The service was friendly, and the outdoor seating—while next to a busy road—offers a surprisingly open and pleasant view.
I went for the lunch menu: a cheeseburger, side salad, frozen yogurt, and a small beer. The burger was fine—the patty was slightly overcooked, but its flavor wasn’t entirely lost under the toppings. The salad was fresh and varied. The frozen yogurt? Skippable.
From a pricing perspective, though, it’s a bit much. With the Black Angus upgrade and tip, you’re looking at €30 for lunch. In my opinion, Marienkäfer offers better, more affordable burgers for midday meals.
