Spicy Broths and Shade Under the Trees Near Wilhelmstraße
You’ll find Peking Ente at Voßstraße 1, right on the corner with Wilhelmstraße. Open from 11:30 AM, the restaurant offers a weekday lunch menu for around €10. Inside, the space features elegant reddish-brown wood furniture, while outside, there are shaded tables beneath the trees.
Drinks are well-priced and satisfying: 0.4L of Budweiser on tap for €4.90, or a pot of excellent jasmine tea for €3.50. While I personally prefer the duck at Jolly, the dishes featuring fresh noodles in a spicy broth (from €17) stand out here. Just be warned: a bib would be useful—splashing is practically guaranteed.
Menus, more information, and reservations can be found on the restaurant’s website.
