Charming Break Spot on Reinhardtstraße: Milchweiß

Tucked along Reinhardtstraße—right by the entrance to the Bauernverband and the Humboldt-Universität’s Campus-Nord park—Milchweiß quietly opened in autumn 2024. It’s almost a crime that I’m only getting around to praising it now.

This café is the perfect launchpad for a park stroll or a peaceful pause mid-day. Their coffee selection is excellent, available both to go and for sipping on site. Despite occupying a compact ground floor space, the upper mezzanine is cleverly arranged and surprisingly cozy—ideal for while away the hours or just enjoy a moment’s rest.

The menu covers all the essentials: Franzbrötchen, croissants, classic sandwich rolls, and even warm sandwiches—so you definitely won’t go hungry if you stay. There are outlets, too, making it a great spot for anyone working or studying. Staff are friendly, attentive, and welcoming.
