Looking for a quick ice cream fix in central Mitte? Julian und Elisa, just off Gendarmenmarkt, is open daily from 10 AM to 8 PM. A scoop costs €2.20, and the quality is solid across the board.

I tried the coffee and yogurt-orange flavors. The coffee could’ve used a stronger punch, but the orange—enhanced with bits of candied peel—was delicious. The cones themselves are also well made and crisp.
