Hofbräuwirtshaus Berlin
Karl-Liebknecht-Str. 30, 10178 Berlin
Big Beer, Bavarian Vibes, and Mixed Feelings in the Heart of Berlin
With seating for up to 4,000 guests, you’re almost guaranteed to find a spot at Berlin’s Hofbräu Wirtshaus—even during Oktoberfest season, up until October 3rd. Guests are seated by staff, and the best spots are close to the live band.
I’m torn about this place. On one hand, it feels entirely soulless. On the other, it’s exactly what you’d expect from a franchise—whether in Peking or Pirmasens, the food and drink quality is consistently the same. A full liter of beer (Maß) currently costs €11.50. The restaurant is open from 11:00 AM to midnight and is located at Karl-Liebknecht-Str. 30. Bonus: dogs are welcome. For more details, visit the restaurant’s website.
