Stylish Lunch Stop with Wine and Window Views on Unter den Linden

Located at Unter den Linden 21, right on the corner of Friedrichstraße, Daily by Dallmayr is open from 10 AM to 7 PM. The menu includes bowls, baguettes, salads, flatbreads, and a weekly lunch special. There’s also a solid selection of drinkable wines by the glass.

Main dishes range from €10 to €15—a fair deal for this central location. The space is stylishly designed and comfortable. I had a window seat overlooking the intersection, which made for a pleasant view. Still, the vibe leans a bit too much toward “quick in, quick out” for my taste.

I tried the light rosé (€6.80 for 0.2L), which was very good, and the Niçoise salad (€11)—fresh and perfectly fine. If you’re after a more spectacular Niçoise, though, I’d point you toward Grand Café Saint-Germain at Savignyplatz. The full menu is available on their website.
