Tucked between the courtyards connecting Unter den Linden and Mittelstraße, Coffee Lab Kaiserhöfe serves seriously good coffee—it’s a bit hidden, but worth the search. Whether you’re grabbing a takeaway or settling in, the espresso drinks are crafted with passion and cater to coffee connoisseurs. They also offer a nice selection of bagels and cakes. The shop isn’t large, but a mezzanine level creates a cozy, well-used space.

If you want quality coffee near Basecamp (but not inside), head to Coffee Lab Kaiserhöfe. Coming from Unter den Linden, find the café through the passage at Hausnummer 28a. Open weekdays from 8 AM to 4 PM. It’s rarely crowded, and they consistently deliver excellent coffee. Fair warning: the chairs could be more comfortable, but that’s a minor gripe.
