Cafe Libre is a daytime café and Späti in one—meaning while you can’t drink the chilled beer on-site, you’re welcome to take it away. Ideal spot for lunch or afternoon treats: they offer a variety of focaccias (my pick: the one with tyrolean speck—briefly toasted to bring out its flavor), quiches, soups, and a tempting selection of sweet pastries. If your favorite isn’t in the display case, the friendly staff will happily whip it up fresh in the kitchen.
