During the lockdown, I discovered Anand at Albrechtstraße 12, a hidden gem that quickly became my go-to for delicious, comforting meals. While I’m usually not a fan of take-away, their slow-cooked dishes with rice really hit the spot.

Anand offers a modest lunch menu from 12 to 16 o’clock, featuring both vegetarian and meat options priced between €7.90 and €9.50. Considering the quality, the food is excellent value for money.

Located at the far end of Albrechtstraße near Friedrichstraße, the restaurant provides a pleasant atmosphere with some outdoor seating available—perfect for a relaxed lunch in the heart of the city.
