A recent comprehensive study by the IAB, BAMF, and DIW takes a close look at the living conditions and participation of Ukrainian refugees in Germany, using data collected up to January 2024. The findings show that over half of the respondents feel confident in their German language skills, and about 70 percent are actively taking part in integration courses. Employment rates are currently at 26 percent for men and 21 percent for women.
